The fun lies in learning as much from the children as they learn from you and understanding how amazing and unique children are.
The objective is to increase children’s awareness and adoption of healthy oral health behaviours, aiming for them to have oral health and oral hygiene knowledge and for them to engage in desirable practices like tooth brushing and dental flossing from an early age.
Ideally this should be done in two phases: The Education Phase and The Evaluation Phase.
The Education Phase
Explanations and demonstrations on how to take care of oral health can be supported with animations and songs.

The Evaluation Phase
Children can be asked to describe what they learnt from the oral health material taught during the education phase. This could involve a written questionnaire or the colouring-in of drawings.
Measuring the effectiveness can be used to make necessary adjustments in an effort to help children maintain healthy teeth and gums now and in the future.
